I fouled up my MX record (the settings which match a mail server and a domain) transfer (problem between the chair and keyboard). Everything is now working again.

The move to the new host is complete. Some DNS servers will still be replicating - so there may be some outages for certain users.
The WSS server holding my blog post images is also down at the moment. It may take some time to have the images moved and redirected to a new location.
My mail MX records are also still down. Mail to philiprichardson.org is bouncing at the moment. If you need to reach me use my microsoft.com account.

I'm moving to a new hosting provider. There will be some downtime as the domain is redirected and the blog app is settled in at it's new home.

Mary Jo laments the fate of the poor Googlers who are unable to wear the swag of competitors.
I'd personally love some Salesforce.com swag, some Siebel shirt, SAP pens etc. But no 'care packages' have arrived... (my mailing address is One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052).
As a side note - Salesforce does bar competitors from it's conferences.

I've have really been impressed lately by
the blog of one our
competitors (37 Signals).
SFDC hired
Peter Coffee (from
eWEEK) to spice up their
Sforce Successforce Apex
(or whatever they call their platform this week)
blog. Peter has certainly added
some nice content - but I'd take the 37 Signals blog any day.

It is worth checking out the
CRM breakout at
MIX 07. The citizen relationship management solution demo'd by Jason Hunt from
Invoke/
Ascentium is very slick.
I alway cherry pick the best videos from these conferences. It is an excellent way to stay up to date on the latest happenings in the Microsoft world.

I'm starting to feel sorry for the good folks at Hilton Hotels. Brand is so important these days and
stuff like this doesn't help.
I'm guessing Hilton management hopes that she will just go away...
