Last weekend Ellie and I headed into Seattle for dinner/drinks with Todd & Maria. For dinner Todd selected Earth and Ocean (which by chance is one of Ellie's favorite Seattle restaurants - having celebrated her 30th birthday there). Fellow Microserfs should take note: buy one main course and get one free. Food was good (apart from a minor hiccup with over-cooking Maria's steak which was promptly sent back and replaced). For drinks we checked out the newest high end cocktail bar: Vessel. A sleek modern place (my kind of bar) it serves a range of 'classic cocktail' inspired drinks (also pretty good at regular stuff). Worth stopping by for a drink if you are downtown. The $10 cocktails seemed cheap compared to Vegas (where we had found ourselves a few days earlier).
