One of the Product Managers from my old team works for a non-profit in her spare time. Their organization is about to host their first gala charity event. Unfortunately they don't have a website (which is bad) - but they did send around an email (less bad):

Incipio means “to begin”. Incipio is beginning our first year in Seattle developing entrepreneurial education to enable under-represented youth to begin their adult lives with the business skills and connections necessary to grow businesses, create jobs, and stimulate local economies.

Our 1st Annual Gala will be an evening filled with interesting speakers, appetizers, drinks, music and a silent auction.  We’ll hear from some of Incipio’s potential program participants from a local high school.   Our key note speaker is Mr. Blair McIntosh, Dealer Principal / General Manager of Kirkland Chrysler Jeep.  Join us for an inspiring talk by Mr. McIntosh on the power of putting the right tools in the hands of our youth to lead them to new heights!

Blair McIntosh is the Dealer Principal / General Manager of Kirkland Chrysler Jeep.  He is responsible for the overall direction and long-range objectives for the dealership.   Mr. McIntosh leads one of the most successful Chrysler Jeep dealerships in the Seattle metro market and in Washington State. Kirkland Chrysler Jeep has received DaimlerChrysler’s coveted Five Star Award every year of operation; it is ranked by Black Enterprises of “The Nation’s Largest Black-Owned Businesses - Automobile Dealerships.”  And Kirkland CJ is one of the “Top 40 Minority-Owned Businesses in the Puget Sound.”

Mr. McIntosh was recently featured in Ebony Magazine as a “Young Leader Under 30” in the February 2007 Issue.
