The Microsoft CRM LinkedIn Group has been growing steadily. We have 462 members and it is growing every day.
All requests to join a LinkedIn group must be manually approved. I try and filter out the link whores and the recruiters: so that the group consists only of people who have some kind of relationship (Microsoft, Customers, Parnters etc) to Microsoft CRM.
Lately I've noticed a significant increase in people emailing me asking for their membership to be approved. I'm going to start sending a 'did you read the FAQ' mail. If that doesn't work I'll start actively declining those people. Do we want people in the group who can't RTFM?
For those who think this is too cruel - there is a Microsoft CRM Facebook Group. The idea of using Facebook with my colleagues and business partners horrifies me. Yep - it horrifies me - in the same way Goatse.cx does (Link is SFW). But that is a story for another time...
