Yesterday I had an idea which I quickly turned into a side project. I'm building a set of customizations for CRM which enables VARs (partner who implement CRM and other software for customers) to use CRM to manage their software projects. I've already built the 1.0 version which tracks: Projects, Features, Requirements, Actors (Personas), Use Cases and Bugs. I automatically produces a spec document based on the information in CRM. I'll probably be posting more about this on the team blog over the next few weeks and we may open up the customizations.xml and the code (there isn't much - since CRM does so much out of the box) on to our Got Dot Net Sandbox or the newer Codeplex. This would enable partners to help collaborate on a solution.

The project explores two areas of software development of great interest to me: integration project lifecycle management and automatic documentation.
