Did you know about CtrL+Shift+V which lets you cycle through previously copied text?

Copy one piece of code, then another piece of code, then hit Ctrl+V (you get the second code you copied), the Ctrl+Shift+V and you get the first piece of code you got.

I think it can remember up to 8 of these, I have a hard time keeping track of more than 4...

The same trick also works in most other applications that are window within window based including excel and visio, but it doesnt give a pretty window

ctrl+shift+<down arrow> will open a smaller window of open files in the top right of the app. I find ctrl+tab (and shift+ctrl+tab) to be more useful, but sometimes it's nicer to have less screen real estate taken. Same goes for SQL Management Studio...

There's a nice, free, alternative to Vista's flip 3D that I've been using. One feature I love is that it has incremental search for open window titles, so you press alt+tab (or whatever keys you assign), start typing, and it brings up windows that match what you type.
